The Service «Yandex.Map» no longer reflect the Sakhalin island on the map. It appears only if you reduce the map scale. It is reported that the crash coincided with the rocket launch by the DPRK to the neighboring Sakhalin to the Japanese island of Hokkaido.
The Service «Yandex.Cards» due to failure partially ceased to show the island of Sakhalin on maps, reports RIA Novosti.
As of 8:20 the island appears if you zoom it at 100 kilometers, or the maximum delay for 3000 km. And it disappears when you zoom in on the map in 1000, 600 and 200 kilometers. While satellite and hybrid maps failure is not observed.
About the cause of the problem is unknown, but they coincided with the rocket launch the DPRK’s neighboring Sakhalin to the Japanese island of Hokkaido. According to preliminary data, it was testing medium-range missiles that flew more than two thousand kilometers and fell into the Pacific ocean.
Japan has already expressed its strong protest in connection with missile launch and called on the UN security Council to gather for an emergency meeting.
