The TFR has declared plunder of 200 million rubles in the case of «Gogol-center»

A criminal case was opened after searches by the investigators in the «Gogol-center» and its artistic Director directed by Kirill Serebrennikov. The investigation found that managers at the organization, «the Seventh Studio» from 2011 to 2014 abducted budget funds in the amount of about 200 million rubles, which were allocated by the state.

Searches in «Gogol-center» and its artistic Director Kirill Serebrennikov conducted in the framework of the case of embezzlement of 200 million rubles. It is reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to investigators, the persons from among the leadership of the Autonomous nonprofit organization «the Seventh Studio» from 2011 to 2014 abducted budget funds in the amount of about 200 million rubles. The money was allocated by the state in accordance with the government resolution on the development and promotion of art in Russia.

In the end, the employees of the Main investigation Department of the TFR in Moscow opened a criminal case on the basis of materials of field services.

Earlier, the representative of the GSM TFR in Moscow Yulia Ivanova said that searches of government associated with the case of major embezzlement of budget funds in 2014. According to her, searches are carried out on many locations in different regions of the Russian Federation. Among them – a place of residence and work of Director Kirill Serebrennikov.
