The Russian foreign Ministry is concerned by Kiev’s attempts to rehabilitate the Nazis

Moscow concerned by Kiev’s attempts to rehabilitate the Nazis, a struggle with Soviet monuments that has been deployed in several European countries.

«We have to say that the vaccine against the Nazi virus produced including at the Nuremberg Tribunal, gradually begins to weaken. This, in particular, is evident in the number of European countries. Being openly promoted Nazi ideas and values, raise the head of the national-radicals. Particularly alarming is the situation in Ukraine, where, in fact, rehabilitated Nazi war criminals. This not only offends the memory of millions of victims, but also threatens the fundamental principles of democracy and human rights», — stated in the message of the Russian foreign Ministry.

«Indignantly observed a cynical attempt to falsify the history of world war II, to put victims and executioners, erected in a rank of heroes of the Nazis and their henchmen. Obvious and goal of such unscrupulous actions — use of historical speculation in geopolitical games, to provoke political phobias, embroil whole countries and peoples», — said the Ministry.

The Russian foreign Ministry added that «of particular concern is detailed in a number of European countries, especially in Poland against the monument to Soviet citizens who died fighting with Nazism»

«It seems that the main lessons of the Second world war in the EU until the end and not learned. And, it seems, to do it still do not want», — stressed in the foreign Ministry.
