The Russian Embassy awaits an apology for insulting Vladimir Putin from German magazine Focus

The Russian Embassy in Germany has criticized an article of the German magazine Focus, in which journalists insulted the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. According to the Secretary of the Embassy of Denis menkaure, they expect from the leadership of the media an apology. The corresponding entry appeared on the official account of the press service of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Germany is on Facebook.

The representative of the Embassy believes that the German journalists from Focus could make the mistake, insulting words addressed to the Russian leader — it’s just an unfortunate linguistic exercise of the journalist, which was mistakenly allowed to print.

Note that we are talking about the article, which was devoted to German Chancellor Angela Merkel. In the text there is a passage that «she is afraid of dogs, Putin, but she’s not afraid of dogs, Putin.» Presumably, the author tried to achieve a beautiful word play, however, was «stupid and tasteless».

Mikerin also hopes that the main Focus editor Robert Schneider will still apologize for insulting Vladimir Putin.

Currently, the official reviews from the press and information Department in the government of Germany has not yet been reported.
