The plane carried 40 rescuers, including 17 divers, two deep-water robotic camera, compressor equipment, motor boat, diving equipment. Brought emergency rescue equipment will be loaded onto a support vessel at the disposal of the mayor of Svalbard, and delivered to the site to conduct search operations.
Russian helicopter, on Board of which was 8 people — five crew members and three employees of the research Institute of Roshydromet — crashed Thursday in several kilometres from Barentsburg, where they were going from village Pyramid.
