The Ministry of health have not agreed on a bill that proposes to allow the sale of alcohol on the Internet from 1 January 2018. In the opinion of the Agency said that for online purchases from the seller of alcoholic beverages may not be able to demand a document certifying the identity of the buyer.

Thus, the ability to verify the buyer’s age and to demand the document proving the identity, the seller may not be», — stated in the opinion of the Department.

In addition, this bill is contrary to public policy for reducing alcohol consumption. In particular, one of its goals is to reduce the availability of alcohol by limiting retail sales.
