In fairness it should be noted that in 10 months of 2016, growth of textile production in the country amounted to 4.2%, leather and footwear — 6,2%, while a slight increase shows the production of cotton fabrics, flax, synthetics and knitwear, but again, the imports from the Russian market has not gone anywhere, and most products of the Russian factories is used to run the defense and state orders for the supply of uniforms and workwear.

The main suppliers of fabrics and accessories is China and Turkey, the volume of supply of Turkish fabrics with the introduction of restrictions has changed little — only now their value has increased as a result of the inclusion in the supply chain intermediaries from third countries. Actually it is the fact that the offer on the market of fabrics and accessories, suitable for the manufacture of garments aimed at the mass market is formed by imports, the Russian light industry is now in is not the easiest position.
