An informal meeting of leaders of Russia and the United States will be enlightened Syrian settlement.

The leaders of Russia and USA Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama can hold a meeting on the sidelines of the G-20 summit, which will take place on 4-5 September in the Chinese city of Hangzhou. This was stated by the assistant to the Russian President Yuri Ushakov.

«Theoretically, (the meeting) may take place during the summit of «twenty». She agreed, but she may well take place if the leaders agree to it in working order», — said Ushakov.

Earlier, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov also expressed the view that Putin and Obama will be able to discuss on the sidelines of the forum the question of the peaceful settlement in Syria. «As such a separate full-scale meeting (Putin and Obama) as not currently planned, however, we with high probability can assume that on the sidelines of the summit, Putin and Obama will have the opportunity to speak,» said Dmitry Peskov.

Earlier the news Agency «National news» reported that Putin warned the G20 from the discussion of Syria to the detriment of the world economy.
