Greco-Roman wrestler Sergey Semenov won the third place in weight category to 130 kg at the Games in Rio. The Russian athlete managed to defeat an Estonian wrestler Heiki Nabi.

Sergey Semenov only 21 years old. The Olympics in Rio de Janeiro his debut. Semenov Russian national champion, winner of Russian Cup in 2016 and silver medalist of the world Cup. This is the 34th award of the Russian team at the Games in Rio and our third medal in competitions on Greco-Roman wrestling. Prior to that, the winners of the Games were the Russian wrestlers Roman Vlasov and Presses Chakvetadze.
