The court freed one of the six accused in the rape of volleyball

On Wednesday, district court of Pirkanmaa Finnish city of Tampere has released from-under guards of the Cuban athlete Dariela Albo Miranda, accused in the rape.

In July this year law enforcement bodies of Finland have arrested six volleyball players from Cuba on charges of gang rape. The court noted that the decision does not remove the charges against Miranda, the final verdict will be pronounced on Wednesday, September 21. In the case of proof of guilt of athletes, volleyball players face up to ten years in prison.
