A joint study by astronomers from Britain, Chile, Spain and the USA have proved that the relic cold spot is an artifact of the collision of our Universe with a parallel. A full report of the study were published in the scientific journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.
Scientists believe that the cause of the extremely low temperature of the spots is precisely the collision of our Universe with a bubble of a parallel Universe. This was told by Professor Tom Shanks.
Also, experts have dispelled the view that cold spot is a huge space, with galaxies and clusters. This decision was made after careful analysis of several thousands of galaxies that are in the area of the slick.
Relic cold spot is a region in the constellation of Eridanus, which is situated at a distance of more than three billion light years from the Sun.
