Deputy head of the Moscow investigative cupola General Denis Nikandrov, accused of receiving especially large bribes, will remain in jail until at least September 15. Lefortovo court of Moscow has denied the defence in electing him a more lenient preventive measure, reports TASS.
In turn, the lawyer nikandrova has said that defenders will continue to seek his release. «Today’s decision, as the decision of the first instance will be appealed», — said the lawyer.
Three officers of the IC of Russia was detained by the FSB in late July. The head of Department of own safety of Mikhail Maksimenko, his Deputy Alexander Limonov and the first Deputy head of the GSU across Moscow Denis Nikandrov are suspected of receiving bribes, abuse of power and ties to organized crime.
