As it became known according to results of the Executive Committee of the Russian football Union (RFU), Stanislav Cherchesov was appointed the new coach of the national team of Russia on football. Contract with the specialist is designed to August 2018.
Cherchesov will prepare the national team for the world Cup, which will be held in 2018 in Russia. Before the coach set a task to reach the semifinals of the world Cup.
The RFU have also examined the candidacy of Kurban Berdiyev, Sergei Semak and Aleksandr Borodyuk. But, according to reports, the media, the former coach of Rostov chose to work at the club Spartak.
Cherchesov already called the coaching staff of Russian national football team. It will include Gintaras Stauce, Miroslav Romashchenko and Vladimir Panikov.
