In the next three years in Moscow will be built 350 kilometers of new roads. This was announced by the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin during the inspection of construction of the southern Expressway.
Sergei Sobyanin visited the construction site of a flyover at the intersection of Balaclava Avenue and Varshavskoe highway. The design will become part of the so-called southern belt, reports «TV Center».
It is, in fact, high-speed line that will link Western and South-Eastern areas of the capital, connecting Rublevsky and Kashirskoe highway. And then will come on the ring road in the street of the Upper Field. This enables you to redistribute traffic flows and significantly relieve the road. The total length of the Expressway will be six and a half miles.
«We are not going to stop there. In the next three years will be built about 350 kilometers of road network, 70 artificial structures. We are talking about such serious projects as the South Rokada, Northwest Expressway, northeast Expressway, reconstruction of the Kaluga highway, a link between Calugay and Kiev highway New Moscow. So large-scale construction in Moscow will continue», — said the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin.
