The Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu on Saturday held a meeting with the defense Minister of Serbia Zoran Djordjevic, during which they discussed the possibility of military-technical cooperation between Moscow and Belgrade. About this Saturday reports TASS.
«Today I propose to discuss further steps to strengthen our cooperation in education, new projects exercises and, of course, all that relates to military-technical cooperation in the near future«, — said Shoigu.
The Minister congratulated him on the recent appointment to the post of defense Minister. Shoigu «with appreciation» noted the fact that his first foreign visit Djordjevic struck in Moscow.
The Serbian Minister, in turn, noted that relations between Russia and Serbia «have never been better than now. «We see Russian Federation as our strategic partner. We respect the position of the Russian Federation, which is always ready to help us, «- said Djordjevic.
«We’re not changing our position, the Republic of Serbia will never impose sanctions against Rf», — he added, saying that Belgrade will develop military-technical cooperation with Moscow.
