Scientists: cardiologists need to consider gender when treating the hearts of men and women age differently

In the course of the study, American scientists from the Johns University of Gapchinska came to the conclusion that men’s and women’s hearts age differently.

So, with age, the heart of the stronger sex becomes heavier, the vessels become thicker and the blood flow to a vital organ is reduced. In women, these changes are not observed. According to the researchers of the experiment, published in the journal Radiology, these differences should be considered when treating heart disease.
