In the state Duma introduced a bill providing for the right of Russian citizens to receive state or municipal land plots not only in the territory of the far Eastern region but also in the entire Russian territory.
The relevant amendments are proposed to the law «On peculiarities of providing citizens with land plots in state or municipal ownership and located in the constituent territories of the Russian Federation within the far Eastern Federal district».
As noted in the explanatory note, «Draft Federal law… expands the Federal law…, establishing the right of citizens to receive land plots in state or municipal ownership not only in the territory of the far Eastern Federal district, but also throughout Russia.»
From 1 February 2017 launched the third phase of implementation of the Federal law on the provision of «far-Eastern acres,» under which any citizen can become the owner of a plot of land in DFO. According to the law, which came into force on 1 June 2016, the Russians can once donated to a hectare of land in the far East.
