Putin urged the mayor to demolish the «Khrushchev» in Moscow

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin met with Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin. During the meeting the head of state, in particular, stated that, knowing the moods and expectations of Muscovites, he considers it appropriate to demolish the five-story building — the so-called «Khrushchev».

«Khrushchev» in Moscow it is more expedient to demolish than to repair them. This was during a meeting with the mayor of capital Sergey Sobjanin has declared the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

«I know the mood and expectations of the residents. Expectations in order for these houses to be demolished and in their place new housing to build. It seems to me that it would be the most correct decision», — quotes the President TASS.

According to the President, it all depends on the budget of the capital and from the ability to attract investors. Putin also urged to solve the problem of resettlement of dilapidated housing with maximum consideration of the interests of the residents of these homes.

«I expect that the organization of work, in which everything we do is for the benefit of people, improves their lives. But here there are issues related to the resettlement, and areas of future residence. You need to make it so that all the people satisfied,» he said.
