Putin has opened a monument to Russian and Soviet soldiers in Slovenia

Russian President Vladimir Putin during a visit to Slovenia opened a monument to Russian and Soviet soldiers who died in the two world wars.

According to the press service of the Kremlin, the Russian leader together with his Slovenian counterpart Borut Pahor laid flowers to the monument. Also, both presidents agreed that the rewriting of history is unacceptable.

In addition, Vladimir Putin and Borut Pahor agreed on joint work to strengthen security on the European continent.

Recall that the idea of the monument to Russian and Soviet soldiers in Slovenia was discussed back in 2011.
