Putin discussed with the security Council Syrian resolution

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with members of the security Council of the country. According to him, the main attention was paid to the issue of the Syrian settlement based on the results of the Sochi Troika.

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with the permanent members of the security Council the issue of the Syrian settlement based on this week’s international contacts. This told the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

«The meeting held a thorough exchange of views in context of the President this week in Sochi, the international contacts, including visits of foreign guests and telephone negotiations» — quoted Peskov TASS.

He added that the main attention was paid to the issues of the Syrian settlement based on the results of the Sochi Troika.

The President of Russia from 20 to 22 November in Sochi and held talks with his counterpart Bashar al-Assad. He also held a trilateral meeting with the presidents of Iran Hassan Rouhani and Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In addition, Vladimir Putin spoke by telephone with the presidents of the USA Donald trump and of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, king of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud and the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
