Power of Siberia: the largest power lines in the Far East is gaining momentum

JSC DVEUK has fully provided for the prospective load of the pipeline system «Eastern Siberia — Pacific ocean» in Yakutia and Irkutsk region. After the works on technological connection of objects of oil pipeline capacity is the largest in the far East lines became more powerful at 30%.

It is reported that investment in this project exceeded 700 million rubles. They went on the expansion and reconstruction of existing power facilities. In particular, work was carried out at three substations, which are part of the overhead line 220 kV «Chernyshevsky — Mirny — Lensk — Peleduy» with tap to NPS-14. Thus the line received an additional 97 megawatts of electrical load, raising the total capacity to 458 megavolt-ampere. In the mode of commissioning was connected to two chains new overhead lines.

According to first Deputy General Director and chief engineer of JSC DVEUK Anatoly Maximov, parallel work on technological connection of objects of the gas pipeline «Power of Siberia». It is expected that the scheme of external power supply of the Yakutia gas production center will be ready by the end of this year. The cost of new infrastructure and the connection of two compressor plants shall not exceed 2.8 billion rubles.
