Poland needs to fine «Gazprom» in the framework of antitrust proceedings against a Russian company and oblige it to sell its stake in the gas pipelines Opal and «Yamal-Europe». This sends the Rambler/news with reference to the Polish state gas company PGNiG.
The Polish company also demanded from «Gazprom» to provide customers with a one-time right to revise the price formula in the contract. According to the Polish side, this will set the «market price». Also for the buyers from Eastern and Central Europe it is proposed to reduce the volume of take-or-pay 75% of contractual volume of gas supplies.
The Polish company also insists on the sale of «Gazprom» its share of the Opal gas pipeline «Yamal-Europe».
«The sale of shares of «Gazprom» to the companies that are the owners of pipeline and storage infrastructure in the EU. This decision should concern in particular infrastructure, which allows us to connect infrastructure issues with trade agreements, and to retain exclusive control over gas supply routes in Central and Eastern Europe. For example, the OPAL gas pipeline «Yamal-Europe», as well as gas storage facility «Katharina», — said in a statement.
In addition, according to PGNiG, the Russian company must agree on bilateral flows of gas at all entry points of the system of the EU and the Energy community.
