«Nothing to do with Ukrainians in Russia», the Ukrainian Minister urged to cut transport links with Russia

Ukrainian Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian said about the need to stop the train and bus connections with Russia. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

Two years ago Ukraine introduced a ban on flights of Russian airlines and transit of military goods and dual-use goods. The Kremlin said mirror measures banning flights by Ukrainian airlines to Russian cities.

According to Omeljan, the Ukrainians have no need to go to Russia and he hopes that «Ukrainian Railways» is silenced in the only riding in Moscow, train and revise its policy.

He acknowledged that many people in Ukraine have relatives living in Russia. The Ukrainian Minister said that the ban on transportation will be an occasion to return home. According to the Omelyan, the government needs to convince people that in Russia they do not have to travel.
