NASA plans the new exploration mission to Pluto

One of the participants of the New Horizons program reported that a group of American scientists sent a letter with a proposal to organize a new expedition to the Kuiper belt. The researchers propose to launch a new interplanetary automatic research station, which will be sent to Pluto or another are interested in TRANS-Neptunian object.

It is noted that the proposal was sent to the Director of NASA, and also the chairmen of some of the Advisory committees of space agencies.

In the letter, the scientists pay attention to the fact that there remain unsolved scientific problem. For this reason, new mission needed to obtain previously unknown data. In the future it will simplify a number of tasks, including expeditions beyond the Solar system.
