Mariupol remained without hot water until October because of debts

Residents of Mariupol to mid-October, were left without hot water because of debts for gas. Now debt «Mariupolteplomerezha» is 31.7 million dollars.

In Mariupol turned off the hot water to the new heating season, which will begin in mid-October. This was reported on the website of the city.

According to the administration of Mariupol, this situation has arisen because of the debt of the city for gas, which reached the amount of 31.7 million dollars. For the year managed to repay 2.6 million dollars.

«We put in such conditions that we were forced to turn off the water, other alternative we have,» — said the mayor Vadim Boychenko.

The city authorities hope will be in a program of debt restructuring for five years, then written off all interest and charges.

The administration of Mariupol is developing a special programme on installation of boilers in kindergartens, schools and hospitals.
