Involved in the case of embezzlement in the Ministry of culture, the Director of the Department of property and investment policy Department Boris Mazo pleaded guilty to all sane he episodes. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Maso lawyer Alexei Kupriyanov.

«My client in full and all episodes of admitted guilt, release him under house arrest,» he said during the meeting of the Moscow city court.

The lawyer also said his client had concluded a deal with the investigation.

As found by the investigators, in 2012, the Deputy head of the Ministry of culture Grigory Pirumov has created a criminal group, which included the Director of the Department of property management and investment policy of the Ministry Boris Mazo, the head of the company «Baltstroy» Dmitry Sergeyev, the Manager of the company Alexander Kochenov, Director of the Ministry’s subordinate FGKU Tsentrrestavratsiya Oleg Ivanov and businessman, adviser to General Director of «Linnet-consult» Nikita Kolesnikov. They signed contracts with erroneous information and high cost of services for the execution of restoration works with the aim to steal money. In March, the Lefortovo court of Moscow arrested the defendants in the case.
