According to him, the Palestinian forces must unite against the decision of Washington.
The leader of the political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, announced on December 8 a «day of anger» and the beginning of the uprising. So he reacted to the decision of the President of the United States Donald trump to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, reports RIA Novosti.
«Friday will be a day of wrath and the beginning of a new movement to counter the plans of the occupiers in the West Bank [of the Jordan river] and in Jerusalem under the slogan «freedom for Jerusalem and the shore,» he said in a televised address.
According to him, such a statement sounds in view of the upcoming anniversary of the intifada — the uprising against Israel — 1987. Also Haniyeh urged the Palestinian forces to unite against the decision of the United States.
