The first meeting of Mollo with the Director of «Star wars» George Lucas happened in 1975. They discussed work on the then yet-untitled sci-Fi film. «For Darth Vader, I had to go to three departments (shopping center) — Church division over the cassock, the Department of modern clothing for motorcycle costume and in the military division for the German helmet and gas mask. We dazzled it all together, and turned Darth Vader,» said Mollo.
