«Regarding international legal assistance is to call the accused to court and appeals through the Ministry of justice of the Russian Federation and the Rostov regional court to refuse,» said the judge.

According to the lawyer of ex-President Vitaliy Serdyuk, without these explanations it will be impossible to implement videoconferencing in connection with the need to clarify questions about the process of identification of the former head of the state and the necessity of the presence of the prosecution directly next to Yanukovich.
Protection of the former President asked the court for a recess, to convey to the client the position of the court, but the petition was denied.

Prosecutors said that during the riots on Maidan in 2014, Yanukovych appealed to Russian authorities to enter armies on the territory of Ukraine.
