The decision of the Central election Commission for elections and referenda (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan on the final outcome of the Republic on 15 October presidential elections will come into force after publication in the government media, reports TASS.
As have informed in the Republic Central electoral Committee, on Monday members of the CEC signed the final Protocol about the election results within three days it needs to be published in the government publication «Free mountains».
According to the legislation of Kyrgyzstan, the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Sooronbay Zheenbekov will be held within 30 calendar days from this moment, explained in the CEC.
On Monday, the CEC approved the Protocol on the results of the recent presidential elections. Their winner was the representative of the Pro-presidential Social democratic party of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, for which voted more than 54% of voters.
Second place with 33.5% of the votes went to the leader of the parliamentary faction «Respublika-ATA-Zhurt» («the Republic of the Fatherland») Omurbek Babanov. Participation in the presidential elections of Kyrgyzstan took more than half included in the voter lists of citizens.
