American scientists: selfish will always be alone

During the 11-year study by American scientists from Chicago came to the conclusion that lonely people suffer from egocentrism and Vice versa.

So experts analyzed data from about 230 people aged 50-68 years from different social strata, groups and professions. As a result, scientists came to the conclusion that the feeling of loneliness is inextricably linked to self-centeredness. That is, individuals over time, a sense of obsession with the person increases. And Vice versa. So selfish over the years more and more go away.

According to one of the study’s authors Stephanie Cacioppo than selfish starts to drive itself, the person, the more socially isolated he becomes.
