Ahmadinejad was not allowed to the presidential race in Iran

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who served as the leader of Iran in 2005-2013, are not allowed to participate in the presidential race. Just to fight for the presidency in the upcoming may 19 elections will conduct six candidates.

In Iran approved six candidates for the post of President of the country, not committing to participate in the elections, the former head of the Republic Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. According to Associated Press, the decision was made by the Supervisory Board of Iran.

For the post of President of Iran on may 19, will fight the current head of the Republic of Hassan Rouhani, a former Prosecutor General Ebrahim Raisi, a former culture Minister Mostafa Agha Mirsalim, acting first Vice-President eshaq Jahangiri, Tehran mayor Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and the head of the National Olympic Committee of Iran Mostafa Hashemi Taba.
