The Commissioner for human rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova sent a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump with the pardon of Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko. It is reported L!FE.
According to the spouse of the pilot Victoria Yaroshenko, she met in Moskalkova, which signed the appeal. Wife of Russian pilot expressed hope for some changes in the near future in this case.
At a reception at Ombudsman of the Russian Federation the woman told about the difficult conditions in which to contain the Russians. According to her, the pilot almost died from shock after the operation and survived only thanks to the help of inmates.
Yaroshenko said that the conversation was initiated Moskalkova. Previously, the wife of the pilot was told about the conditions in an American prison and bad food.
In 2011, the US court sentenced Konstantin Yaroshenko to 20 years in prison. The pilot was arrested on suspicion of intending to smuggle a large shipment of cocaine. Thus the Supreme court refused to consider the appeal, disagreeing with its arguments.
